Steinberg's Halion Sonic 3 plugin contains 40 GB of sounds for every music genre and is compatible with both PC and Mac. The synthesis parameters of these sounds are adjustable and there is 40 GB of uncompressed material to work with, divided into 3000 presets. Some new features in Halion 6 and Sonic 3 include wavetable synthesis, a Resonator and various effects.
Features of Halion Sonic 3
This multi-timbral 16-part instrument is ideal for making large-scale arrangements. The 3,000 sounds were created by Steinberg and Yamaha's experienced sound-designers. Among the effects, you'll also get a convolution reverb and an amp simulator. There are 24 filter types that can be morphed into one another. Sonic 3 is a handy tool for live performances (master keyboard with a laptop), as you can split your keyboard, define layers , and use single commands to toggle between multi setups.

Ik gebruik Halion Sonic 3 vooral voor het maken van mijn eigen backingtracks in cubase (voornamelijk rock en pop, wat blues en country muziek.
In cubase artist is een kleinere student versie beschikbaar van dit workstation maar Halion Sonic 3 is veel en veel meer uitgebreid.
Het bevat zowat elk virtueel instrument dat je maar kan bedenken.
Vooral de hammond B3(model C), de eagle en raven piano's, studio strings en hot brass zijn echt geweldig goed.
Er zullen waarschijnlijk nog veel betere plugins te koop zijn, maar voor deze prijs is dit volgens mij de beste en meest complete virtuele instrumenten plugin die er is.
Ik kan dit product echt voor iedereen aanraden die muziek wil produceren met veel mogelijkheden en veel
instrumenten zonder dat het jouw bankrekening plundert.
De afhandeling door Bax shop was perfect en erg snel, waarvoor dank.
Echt een aanrader.
